About the Reconstruction
After nearly two decades, the Industrial Palace is complete once again. This historical landmark of the exhibition grounds was originally built for the 1891 Jubilee Centennial Exhibition. However, its Left Wing was destroyed by a devastating fire on October 16, 2008. Between January 2022 and September 2026, the building underwent a comprehensive reconstruction and rebuild. Now, it is back in its full glory, ready for the next chapter of its story.

The Story of the Palace
The year is 1891, and a new exhibition grounds opens its gates in Prague’s Bubeneč district. Built in just a single year for the Jubilee Centennial Exhibition, its centerpiece is a true architectural gem: the Industrial Palace, historically the first assembled steel structure combined with glass, an engineering feat unprecedented in the Czech lands at the time.
